The Union and the United Kingdom shall do everything in their power to take the necessary measures, in good faith and in full respect of their respective legal systems, to swiftly negotiate the agreements on their future relationship, as referred to in the Political Declaration of 17 October 2019, and to implement the relevant procedures for ratifying or concluding those agreements, whereas, as far as possible, these agreements shall apply from the end of the transitional period.
